Map of Atlantis

You will arrive into Atlantis mysteriously, with no explanation given. When you appear, you are in a small office building, a man standing before you. He will silently give you a key, a building with an apartment number, and a map of the town. He will then shoo you away, leaving you to your own devices.

Once you leave his office, you are confronted with a magnificent city. It is quite modern, with paved roads and sidewalks throughout. People are milling about, going about their daily business (some even looking as lost as you feel). According to your map, you are where the little star lies. According to your small piece of paper with your 'new home' location, it seems easy enough to find. On the same street as the small, nearly the size of a small living room, office you will see three five-story buildings in the distance. Two are side by side, the third across the street. There is a vacant lot beside the third building, which is being used for a basketball court, as well as tennis, and any other sport that would fit such a large space.

There are many kiosks along the road, selling wares from jewelry, to amulets, to potions. There are also many other buildings, anywhere you look. The map doesn't show them all, but you have eyes and can see for yourself. According to the map, this is a small island, surrounded on all sides by the ocean. There is a sandy beach along the ocean line, and then a little bit inward is the city. There are many streets, and many places you can see. Places from your own world are shown more clearly, which you may or may not find quite baffling. There are other places of interest in this land, however.

Upon entering your Building, the lobby receptionist will inform you of how to get to your apartment, and that you have what money you had in your world available to use. She also tells you that you can get a job if you want/need to. The choice is yours.
