Housing Assignments Upon arriving at your character's new home, they will first notice that, on the outside of the building, it is a very beautiful gray brick, five stories tall. There is an awning that covers a red carpet leading to the revolving doors (two sets), then into the lobby of the apartment building. The building is reminiscent of a hotel, what with muted beiges and natural tones to make the new tenants feel at ease. The floor is a simple marble, the color of tan. The lobby contains a deep mahogany front desk, with a smiling receptionist there to answer any questions and help direct your character to their room. There is also a small lounge off to the left, with deep burgundy over-sized chairs, a few tables with lamps, and little else. The room is more for relaxing and enjoying the view from the front bay windows.
Upon leaving the lobby, the tenants will find a hallway (which has the same marble flooring as the lobby. In fact, all of the hallways throughout the building have marble flooring). There are four elevators, two on each side. The hallway continues on the the ten apartments on the first floor. The elevator will take your character to the floor on which they will be residing. Each floor has ten apartments. One you find your apartment and use the key you have been given, your character will enter their home.
The entry of of the apartment matches the hallway flooring. To the right is an open living room, containing comfortable sofas and love seats for entertaining. Tables and lamps decorate the room, with scenic paintings around the walls. To the right of the entrance is the dining room, which holds a dining table to seat eight. To the right of that, beyond a wall with a curved opening, the kitchen. The appliances are state of the art, black and all brand new. If your character does not know how to use the appliances, there are instructions printed on cards on the sides of the appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked, but once the food is gone - your characters must either work to make money for more food, or use the money they had from home.
Leaving the kitchen and heading back through the dining room, your character will find the hallway that connects to the entry and leads to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The marble flooring had been continuous until the threshold of the bedrooms. There are four bedrooms, two on each side of the hallway. They are large, and decorated according to your character's style and preference. Fully furnished, these rooms each hold a smart phone and a laptop. If you happen to 'accidentally' break your smart phone or laptop, see the front desk. You will be given one replacement only.
The walk-in closets of the bedrooms hold a few changes of clothes according to your character's style and time. The money/ bank accounts your characters had in their world work here, and they can purchase additional clothing if needed. One object stands out in each room - a mirror. It is a floor-length mirror, in the corner of the room (can obviously be moved... not glued to the floor). You can see your reflection, as with any normal mirror. If your character looks closer, they can see the events back home, in their lives only unfolding. They can choose to look, and they can choose to never see. It is up to them to decide.
Every bedroom also has its own bathroom because, let's face it, four strangers don't really want to share. The bathrooms are also decorated how the occupant would find pleasing, comes with a his and her sink with mirror above, toilet, and bathtub with shower. The cabinet is stocked with toiletries and towels, as well as a robe on the back of the door hook.
Outside of the bedroom and back into the hallway, the tenant will find that there is a large guest bathroom, for any visitors and, well, just in case they can't make it to their own in time. It has the same marble flooring, and muted paint as the rest of the apartment - very relaxing, warm, and inviting. There is a sink with a large mirror above it, a garden tub with spa jets, a stand alone shower, and of course, a toilet. On the far side of the room is a laundry chute. The laundry is dry-cleaned and returned to the tenant, into their closet by the maintenance staff. This is a complimentary service of the Building.
Since each apartment is so large, and the building just as large, every apartment has a balcony. The balcony is off of the living room, accessible by double doors. The railing is made of reinforced steel, painted black to match the building outside. There is a hardened chair to withstand weather, bolted to the concrete. There is ivy that runs along the building, giving it an old-world appearance.
Behind the building, you will find an Olympic-sized swimming pool, surrounded by beautiful rocks with waterfalls, and alcoves for a bit of privacy. There is a jacuzzi/hot tub on both ends of the kidney-shaped pool, as well as a steam room off to the left side. On the right side is a changing house, just in case.

Houses
Upon acceptance of your application, you will be moved into a house, whether on the beach or in the city. Your home will have bedrooms (3-5), according to request.
The homes on the beach are bungalow-style. They are in lighter colors, tans, light greens, and blues, to reflect the beach and ocean near them. The furnishings are wooden and cannot be broken (whether by spell or some other thing designed by the island, one may never know). Upholstered sofas and loveseats take up the living spaces (two, on the left of the entry), a large kitchen connecting to the right of the entry. Straight ahead, down the hall, the bedrooms. Everything is furnished as they are in the apartments, just lighter.
The homes in the city are about a block away from the apartment buildings, and form a residential street. The houses are in a Cul-de-Sac-style. Gray brick on the outside, deep mahogany (indestructible, as always) on the inside. Same furnishings as the beach homes and apartments.
In the houses, if there are more than three bedrooms, there is a second floor for the others along with an additional game room.
